Most of the time our students and applicants tell us about the injustice done to them for being of a minority group. All of our applicants live very close to poverty, have no running water or electricity at home, their family struggle to provide for basic necessities, and many times they are discriminated and victimized. In the sea of these heart-rending stories we came across this one young man who told his story in a bright light. G.D. is a Hindu by religion and at age 19 he told us “I want to see myself as a best citizen of Pakistan”. Not allowing the situation to suppress him he looks towards the future with great optimism.
